About Me

Work With Me

I live and work on the unceded and unsurrendered lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene peoples, and home to the Métis Nation covered in Treaty 1, colonially known as Winnipeg, Manitoba. I want to recognize that water in Winnipeg has originated from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation territory since 1919, while Shoal Lake had operated on a boil water advisory until 2021.

I acknowledge that the Iskatewizaagegan 39 Independent First Nation and Shoal Lake 40 First Nation are suing the city of Winnipeg and the province of Ontario due to this water theft, with little media coverage.
